Start your engine, choose a car and find your racing line in Nitro Pulse. Test your speed and control across city roads, mountain passes, race circuits and challenging off-road routes. Work your way past rivals, drift through corners and aim for a better run each time you drive.

Different tracks, different challenges

Drive beneath the lights of Night City, explore the tree-lined roads of Pine Valley or carry your speed through the bends of Red Canyon. Alpine Pass and the off-road course bring different road conditions, while Bosphorus Grand Prix, Forest Grand Prix and Pocono offer their own circuit racing atmosphere. Practise your line and car control at Mist Pass Drift and Drift Arena.

Drift Arena is a dedicated driving area built around turns and gates. Bring throttle, steering and drift control together to follow the course, then return to practise a smoother run.

Each environment asks for a different approach. Build speed on a long straight, then adjust your pace before a tighter corner. A line that works on asphalt can feel different on an off-road route, so learning the course and adapting your driving are part of every run.

Build your garage

Explore vehicles with different characters, from sports cars to off-road machines. Personalize your chosen car in the garage, adjust its appearance and improve performance with upgrades. Consider acceleration, grip and your own driving style when choosing a car and setup.

Choose how you race

Your goal changes with the mode: keep driving in endless runs, challenge the clock or line up against rivals in races. Drag and circuit racing offer more ways to test your driving skills. Some tracks and events have their own rules and eligible vehicle requirements.

Take control

Choose automatic or manual gears and adjust the controls to suit your driving style. Switch between chase, close chase, far chase, hood and bumper views; a cockpit view is also available in supported cars. Use nitro to accelerate, find your braking points and choose a clean line through each turn.

Manual gears give you more control over shifts and acceleration, while automatic gears let you concentrate on steering and your racing line. Camera options help you follow the road from different perspectives. Set up the controls in a layout that feels comfortable for the way you play.

Keep making progress

Use what you earn from racing to work towards more cars and tracks, and take on different objectives in career and race events. Review your race results and decide what to improve next. Some content becomes available through in-game progress, in-game currency or other unlock options.

Try a different route when you want a short drive, or choose a race or event for a longer challenge. Each car and track combination gives you something new to learn: pick your corner entry, keep an eye on the traffic around you and look for room to make a pass.
