Super Oscar: 2D Platformer

Super Oscar is a 2D platformer the old way: you run, you jump, you hit blocks for coins and you land on enemies' heads. The character never runs on its own. Every jump is yours, and so is every fall.

Millions of players have already run through it. Pick Oscar, David, Jack or Ana and head out through six worlds: green meadows, a land made of candy, ice and snow, a tech world, the desert and a castle lit by torches. Each world has its own enemies and its own music, from snails and carnivorous plants to penguins, yetis, mummies, scorpions, bats and skeletons. And yes, there are dinosaurs.

HOW IT PLAYS
• Run, jump and double jump. Hold the button to jump higher.
• Hit blocks from below for coins, power-ups and extra lives.
• Stomp enemies or knock them out with fireballs.
• Bounce on springs, ride moving platforms and watch out for falling blocks and saws.
• Grab the star and nothing can touch you for a few seconds.

Coins are not just for show. Spend them on hats and outfits, and upgrade your jump, your speed and your fireballs before the later worlds start to bite.

EASY TO LEARN, NOT SO EASY TO FINISH
The first levels teach you the moves one at a time, with a ghost runner that shows you how each jump is done. After that you are on your own, and the platforming gets serious.

BUILD YOUR OWN LEVELS
The level editor turns Super Oscar into your own platformer. Paint the ground, place blocks, coins, springs, moving platforms, enemies and traps, pick the world, the sky and the colors, then test your level with one tap. Undo, redo, copy, fill, zoom and autosave make building quick, and three sample levels show you what is possible.

PLAY LEVELS FROM OTHER PLAYERS
Reach the flag in your level and upload it with your name. Browse the online levels by most popular, best rated or newest, today, this week or of all time, play them and rate them from one to five stars.

TOUCH CONTROLS THAT FIT YOUR HANDS
Play with four buttons or with a D-pad plus A and B. Drag them to wherever your thumbs land and change their size and opacity. Turn on Always Run if you prefer to keep your thumb free for jumping. Keyboard and controller work in every level and menu. Music and sound effects have separate volume controls, and your progress saves by itself.
