BrokenHere puts a QR code on the wall of every room in your building. Anyone who finds a dripping tap or a broken machine scans it, takes a photo, types a line, and a ticket lands on your board with the room already filled in. No app for them, no account, and no need to ask which room they meant.
WHAT IT DOES
The Room Wall
Your building laid out room by room as tiles, floor by floor. A room with an open fault turns orange with a count on it, and a room with no open faults shows green, so you can see the state of the whole place at a glance. Tap a room to see its faults and its QR code.
QR labels for every room
Print the whole building in one PDF: labels with six to a page to stick by the door, or a poster for each room that scans from across the room. Each label carries the room's name. If someone misuses a label, change that room's code and reprint it.
A fault form anyone can use
Scanning opens a simple page in the phone's browser, in English, Spanish or French. Take a photo, say what is wrong, choose how soon it needs fixing (can wait, soon or now) and leave a contact if you would like updates. Nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.
The board
Every fault by where it has got to: reported, taken, fixed, not fixed. Take a job, add a team note, close it with a photo of the fix. Filter by how urgent it is or who has it. The board works in a basement with no signal, and your changes sync when you are back.
Status page for the reporter
The person who reported it gets a page showing where it has got to, your note, and the photo of the fix. Fewer people asking whether anyone saw their report.
The monthly log
What was reported, what got fixed, the typical time to fix, what was left open at month end and which rooms keep breaking. Export a CSV, or a PDF for the committee.
Alerts
A morning note listing how many faults are open, and on Pro a push to your fixers' phones (they use the app) when someone marks a fault Now.
PLANS
The Standard plan covers one site and 10 rooms with fault forms, QR labels and the board, which is enough for a small hall. Solo adds unlimited rooms, reporter status pages and CSV, for one site. Pro adds more sites, 5 seats for your fixers, the monthly PDF and Now alerts.
WHO IT IS FOR
Churches and community halls, small gyms, laundromats, self-storage sites and small HOAs: anywhere the public or members use the rooms and one person gets told about everything that breaks.
BrokenHere keeps track of what people report. It does not check a building for safety or tell you that one is safe. For anything dangerous, call the right service first. Reports and photos are stored on our servers so every fixer's phone sees the same board.
