Duolingo English Test (DET)

Terrible!! this trash doesn't work at all. I've got 3 cancelled test for any apparent reason! it doesn't identify your ear, your keyboard, your screen.. terrible, if I could, i would give negative review. Just lost a bunch of money. hate it. DONT USE THIS, do ANY other English test other than this.

I’ve been using this platform for 1.5 years without issues. Today, during my certified test, the keyboard scan repeatedly showed “Scan was too fast.” I spent four hours contacting support, following instructions, and uninstalling applications. One agent confirmed my internet was fine, while another claimed it was too slow. Agents also disconnected chats within minute. This unprofessional support wasted my time and energy. I’ve completely lost the motivation to take the test today.

Extremely frustrating! I took the Duolingo English Test several times for an international fellowship with a strict deadline. Despite following the rules and making repeated attempts, my tests were repeatedly invalidated for different reasons camera visibility, incomplete upload, and most recently alleged predictive text use. The biggest problem is that you only find out days later, leaving little or no time to try again. This has put my fellowship application at risk despite my genuine efforts.
