The world ended, but the rent didn't. You've inherited a pawn shop in a neighbourhood that survives on junk, and Don Prudencio, the landlord, wants 350 caps for the place in eight days.
Last Pawn Standing is a shop and haggling game: you decide what to buy, how much to pay, who to sell it to and which stories to keep in the drawer.
EVERY PIECE OF JUNK HAS A STORY A toaster that won't shut up, a fishbowl full of sea, a map to a village that's gone… 41 objects, each with its own card and its own secret. Appraise by eye or with a loupe, and don't let anyone sell you dishwater as bottled rain.
HAGGLE WITH THE SURVIVORS Nearly forty neighbours come to your window to sell, pawn, buy or tell you their life story. Some lie, some come back for what they pawned, and someone is looking for exactly that thing in your drawer.
DRESS THE WINDOW AND PAINT YOUR SIGN What you put on show decides who walks in. Paint the sign with your finger, pick a motto and draw in people looking for oddities, scrap or nostalgia. At night, the junkman takes what's left.
PAY THE LANDLORD… OR LOSE IT ALL Payments on day 3 and day 6, repairs every night and the Neighbourhood Watch checking whether what you bought was stolen. Come up short and the landlord takes objects instead. Second warning, you're out.
EVERY GAME, DIFFERENT STORIES The neighbours' stories change from one game to the next. Seven different endings and an album to collect all 41 pieces of junk and every ending you find.
UPGRADE THE SHOP Deeper drawer, wider window, appraiser's loupe, door bell and account book. It all comes out of the till, and what you spend won't go towards the shop.
MADE FOR SHORT BREAKS Eight days per game, saved every morning so you can pick up where you left off. No ads, no in-app purchases and no connection needed. In English and Spanish.
Haggle, pawn and pay the landlord in the last shop at the end of the world.
