Climbing Tracker logs your climbing session route by route: in the gym on a rope, bouldering, on rock and on multi-pitch routes. One button starts a route and ends it, then you pick its grade and how it went.
Use this tracker to track your climbing and bouldering sessions with the grade and the result of every route. Want it customized? Feel free to contact us.
Features:
- Four types: gym rope (lead or top rope), bouldering, rock and multi-pitch
- Grade scales for rope routes: French, UIAA, YDS or gym levels; for boulders: Fontainebleau, V scale or gym levels
- One button per route: the back button when you start it, again when you are off the wall, then choose the grade and the result; on a watch without a back button, hold the lower half of the screen for a second instead
- No tap starts or ends a route or the session, a button or a one-second hold does, so brushing the wall does not log a route by accident
- Results: onsight, flash, sent, fell or gave up; on a boulder "Fell · again" keeps it open for the next try, and every try is counted
- Pressed by mistake? "Not a route" drops it, nothing is counted
- Change or delete the last route afterwards
- Rest timer between routes, time on the wall for every route
- Multi-pitch: approach, every pitch, belay and descent, with ascent and altitude
- Heart rate on the screen (or calories instead), a vibration at route start and end (can be switched off)
- Summary after saving: routes and top send, a grade pyramid with the sends and falls of every grade, time, climb and rest time, heart rate, calories, and every route with its result and time on the wall
- History on the watch with your newest 100 sessions
- Available in 28 languages
Settings on the watch: vibration at route start and end, heart rate or calories on the screen, and your max heart rate for the zone colors.
How to use:
1. Choose the type and the grade scale (gym rope: also lead or top rope): a tap selects, the green arrow button (or the side button) goes on
2. Press the side button or hold the screen for a second to begin the session
3. The back button when you start a route, again when you are off the wall (without a back button: hold the lower half of the screen)
4. Choose the grade and the result and go on with the green button; the rest timer is already running
5. Multi-pitch: at a belay, turn the bezel or crown, or swipe up or down, to start the descent
6. To change or delete the last route: the "⋯" at the bottom of the screen
7. Stop the same way you started; choose Continue, Save or Discard
Settings and History: the "⋯" at the bottom of the first screen.
Works on the watch alone: your sessions stay on this watch. A small companion app for the phone comes with it. It writes each saved session to Health Connect on your phone and does nothing else. Health Connect has no type for bouldering or indoor climbing, so every session arrives there as rock climbing, with its calories and, on rock and multi-pitch, the ascent. It is optional: the watch app works on its own, and neither app uses an internet connection. No ads, no subscription, no account.
