My Tenth Step is a quiet place to look at your day. Write an inventory, check in, and keep what you write on your device.
Scout, a sloth, keeps you company while you write. He offers a short line of encouragement. The practice is the same. You can tap his message if it is in the way.
What you can do:
Daily inventory. Add what happened, review the day, and write a short summary. After you save something, it opens with the next reflection ready.
Check-in. A slider from Heavy to Clear, so you can say how it feels right now. Scout changes with the feeling you land on.
Private by design. Inventories and check-ins are encrypted and stored on your device.
Squads. A private group chat with people you choose. You decide what they see. Conversations are end-to-end encrypted.
An optional guide. You can ask Scout about your inventory. He answers from entries already on your device, and he does not keep a copy of what you wrote.
A daily streak, important dates, and achievements for showing up.

Amazing idea and I love where they're going with this. Awesome to have AI responses to my journal. Android user (Pixel 9) and the summary I can only type one letter at a time, it's a major bug. My workaround is to use the Uncategorized section to type my summary. Other bugs are there too and it could use some organizing, but overall I'm really happy with it especially because of the AI interactive journaling.

Mark, thank you — and sorry the daily summary on your Pixel would only take one letter at a time. That was a real bug and it’s fixed in the latest update. Update and try Daily Summary again; if it still misbehaves, email mytenthstep@pitch15.solutions. Glad the AI journaling is landing.

Thank you very much for providing this app, I use it daily in my recovery journey. however, I have not been able to add Goals, or add items to inventory from the Home page, since the latest update about a week ago. I have to go to the Inventory page and save my updates that way, but there's no other way to add Goals. I didn't encounter these issues with the previous version. I use Android. Please could you let me know if there's something I can do to fix these issues. Many thanks

Charne, thank you for using My Tenth Step every day, and sorry Home stopped letting you add goals and items — that was a bug on our end, fixed in the latest update. Once you update, tap a category near the top of Home to add an item, and Add Goal under Goals. If anything still misbehaves, email mytenthstep@pitch15.solutions.

The app has potential but isn’t user friendly. I can’t find previous days’ data, and my daily summary disappeared. I don’t know where my info went, and it seems like certain features just aren’t accessible. I do like the suggestions and insights, so I’ll keep using it, just not for my daily inventory.
