About this game

OVIVO is a minimalist puzzle platformer where everything is as simple as black and white. In white, gravity pulls you down. In black, it pulls you up. Keep your momentum as you cross the line between them, and you glide along the border as if carried by a flow.

In the world of OVIVO, Black and White exist in harmony, constantly intertwining and replacing each other. OVO, born of these two halves, can move freely between them. Travel through a surreal, metaphorical world full of optical illusions and hidden images, avoid its dangers and collect mysterious symbols. There is no text: the story is told through gameplay and visuals, and what it means is up to you.

FEATURES
ā–  Flow mechanics. Gravity changes with the color and your momentum is preserved, so gliding along the border feels wonderful.
ā–  Hand-crafted surreal art. Every level is an illustration filled with hidden images and optical illusions.
ā–  A story without words. Explore at your own pace and read the world your own way.
ā–  Meditative ambient soundtrack by Brokenkites. Best with headphones.
ā–  Three control modes: on-screen buttons, joystick or tilt.
ā–  No ads and no in-app purchases. Pay once and play offline, anywhere.
ā–  Included with Google Play Pass.
ā–  A relaxing 2D adventure for one or two evenings (about 2 hours), with secrets for completionists.

It took me approximately 10 minutes to lose interest in the game. The game's mechanics are limited to three buttons, with one button being used predominantly and the other button rarely utilized. As a result, the game feels more like an artistic endeavor rather than a traditional game. The drawings are amazing and overall, it is still a cool project. Just not my style. Good luck!

This game is incredibly surreal. Both the graphics and music are mesmerizing. On 32bit devices, the game works well. I absolutely love it. It would be perfect if it supported gamepads and provided local backup and restore options for save data, similar to trail sense app or breakout71 in the f-droid. Since the latest Android versions block access to android/data, which should never have been locked in the first place, addressing this issue would be greatly appreciated šŸ‘

Thanks for the feedback! Recent Android changes restrict access to app data, so manual backups are no longer possible. I’ll consider adding built-in backup/restore and gamepad support in future updates.

Fun and interesting puzzle game, I was thoroughly enjoying myself...right up until I started getting chased around by enemies. I understand the idea of needing some kind of impetus, but for me it completely ruined the sense of casual puzzle game that it had going. It suddenly became a run-for-the-end frustrating and panicky platformer. Not for me. Great game otherwise.
