Niji-Notes & Docs

Niji Note & Docs keeps your notes and documents together in one app, in a vault encrypted on your phone. It opens with your Niji PIN or your fingerprint.

WRITE NOTES

• Links between notes, and phone numbers, emails and web links you can tap

• Niji reads the text of your documents on your phone, so search finds them
• Merge documents, or split one into several (Niji Plus)

ORGANISE YOUR WAY
• Your own folders, with colours, and folders inside folders
• Tags, filters and search across notes and documents
• Pin notes, and choose how lists are sorted and shown

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Everything is kept on your phone, in an encrypted vault
• Niji locks itself soon after you leave it, and protects its screens from screenshots
• Reading text and suggesting tags happen on your phone; nothing is sent to an online service for them
• No ads, no tracking, and no account with us

BACKUP AND A NEW PHONE
• An encrypted backup in your own Google Drive, automatic or when you tap Back up now, on Wi-Fi only if you like
• Your vault is encrypted on your phone before backup, and Google Drive holds only encrypted data. Niji's server never holds your notes or your key; if you turn on Forgot PIN with a 14-day wait, it keeps a sealed reset secret that, with your Drive backup, can open your vault after the wait.
• On a new phone, your Niji PIN opens your backup; your recovery card does too if you forget the PIN, or a 14-day wait if you turn it on
• An encrypted export to a file, kept wherever you like

Niji is free to use. Niji Plus, one purchase on Google Play, paid once, adds: more than 2 expense splits, more than 3 of your own templates, pictures on more than 3 folders, 10 more colour themes, and Split and Merge documents.
