Chapters: The Mole and Stoichiometry: How to Count Atoms · Atomic Models and Electron Configuration · Periodicity of the Elements and Chemical Bonding (with definitions of ionization energy and electronegativity) · Molecular Structure and VSEPR Theory · Gas Laws and the Kinetic Theory of Molecules · Solution Concentration and Intermolecular Forces (why hydrogen bonds form and where) · Chemical Thermodynamics and Gibbs Free Energy (ΔG < 0 and the entropy of the universe) · Chemical Equilibrium and Acids and Bases (why the equilibrium constant has exponents, and Le Châtelier's principle)
Author: THEAWESOMERICH
THEAWESOMERICH is an independent author and learning-material designer focused on helping first-year university students succeed in math, physics and chemistry, especially those whose high-school foundation feels shaky.
The STEM Bridge Series began as an eight-lecture course for each subject and was rewritten into narrative books. Each chapter opens with a real-world scene such as a high-speed train, a game engine or a battery. It then builds the concept, derives the formulas step by step and solves examples with units. The books add appendices that reach toward the next level: Fourier series and the Laplace transform in calculus, Maxwell's equations and special relativity in physics.
The goal is simple: to build, in each reader, the confidence to sit down in the first university lecture and follow along.
