Adventure is a digital watch face built as an expedition instrument panel: a large time on a raised plate, two round needle gauges and two windows of three readings each, set into a matte fascia with a topographic map pressed into it.
WHAT IT SHOWS
- The time, large, with the running seconds and AM/PM on 12-hour time
- The month, day and weekday, in your phone's language
- Two needle gauges: battery, steps to your goal or heart rate
- Six readings in two windows, each with its icon: weather and temperature, today's high and low, UTC time, heart rate, notifications, steps, step goal, chance of rain, battery or UV index
THE GAUGES
Two gauges tuck under the plate, one top left and one bottom right. Each has a 0-10 scale printed on an enamel face, a tapered needle that casts its shadow, and a raised cap over the pivot carrying the exact value. The battery gauge has a red zone at the bottom of its scale, turns its value red when low, and shows a bolt while charging.
THE WINDOWS
The other two corners hold recessed windows of three rows each. By default the top window shows the weather, today's high and low and UTC time, and the bottom one heart rate, notifications and the UV index. Any row can show any reading, or stay empty. The weather icon changes with the conditions and shows the moon at night.
THE DIAL
Everything is matte: powder-coated fascia, dusty enamel, turned metal trims round every gauge and window, and a printed minute track round the rim. Four themes set the whole palette.
Always-on keeps the whole instrument as a dark night version, with the needles, every reading, the time and the date dimmed over it.
